    Just installed

Have not towed yet. Just installed the hitch. Just wanted to say that the install is no where near as hard as some make it out to be. Took me and one other person 2.5 hours at a leisurely pace. Suspect it will perform as expected

Took the fear out of Towing

We bought our first travel trailer weighing in at 4700lbs empty so not too big. My brother towed it home for me using his 3/4 truck on a windy day and you felt the wind. I have a GMC Canyon so smaller truck, never towed anything before so I was scared. The trailer came with the equalizer but I just wasn't sure and I wanted to be sure. I have not towed it any great distance but so far it handles amazing. We tested it on a windy day, a few bumps, and some swerves and never felt anything but in complete control and the trailer was always were it should me. I'm still nervous but the fear is gone.

Feel Safe Pulling My Trailer Now

After a few instances where I got into a small sway issue going down the highway, I was quite afraid to travel with my grand daughter while hauling my trailer. I went to make a lane change one day and got cut off suddenly by someone changing from another lane while I was changing already and with blinker, so I had to quickly move over again and it started swerving. It never got real bad as I only travel about 55 mph at the most. Anytime I want over 60, it started the swirl. I had about had enough and was thinking about another two vehicle when I heard about this. I called and talked to Sean while I was at a camp site and after discussing with him, I make and order for the hitch hoping it would do half as much as others have said. I got it in two weeks later and installed it in a few hours and took it for a test drive. I slowly started testing the ride by making moves at around 50 mph and no swerve at all. I made harder moves and no more swerve again. I sped up and did the same. I ended up getting to 70 mph and made a quick move similar to a half lane change and no swerve at all. I tested it as the worse condition I thought I could put it to and it stopped ALL sway. I can now drive to a camp site and be so much more relaxed while driving while before I was wore out from nerves. It is expensive my families safety is worth so much more. I love this thing. If you need help, Sean even gives his cell phone number to call for install help or other on the instructions. I did call and he actually responded back and forth several times within a few minutes and was on a Sunday. I am impressed.

Consider getting the chain/brake cable/electrical extension kit as this hitch adds about a foot of length for needs of chains and such. Also consider getting the lot hitch also which allows a dealer or repair shop to be able to move the trailer using a normal 2" ball instead of the dedicated receiver hitch the full system requires. The Lot bar is not for travel, but only for moving around in a lot.

    Best sway control I've used

The ProPride 3P 1400 absolutely eliminated my sway problems. Pro Pride is a wonderful company to work with. Hitch arrived on time in perfect condition. Instructions and installation was straight forward. Sean was responsive and helpful throughout. In my opinion, nothing on the market comes close o this hitch.

    Best upgrade ever!!!!

After spending over a year trying many different settings on our old hitch I upgraded to a ProPride. Best things that I will ever do to the trailer. Took the family for a 500 mile round trip over the Labor Day weekend and the trailer pulled great. Even hit some major thunderstorms leaving the island with winds blowing extremely hard and it never swayed a bit. Interstate highway driving was no longer a white knuckle ride worrying about the semi about to pass. Hit a CAT scale on the way home and love how if I need a little more or little less WD it can be dialed in with the jacks quickly and without having to take anything apart.

    amazing customer service

I installed this hitch on my Mercedes Metris, which has a low receiver height. I called Sean on a Sunday and by the middle of the next week I had a custom part made for my vehicle, powder coated and ready to go. Amazing! The towing ease goes without saying. Customer service? Top notch.

    Best hitch ever!!

I had been using an Equalizer 2 WDH towing my 30' Rockwood Windjammer with a 2016 F150. It worked OK, but I got really tired of passing semis sucking and blowing me all over the road. I had been thinking about getting a Hensley hitch for some years, but after talking to people and doing some research I decided to go with the "next generation" and got a ProPride 3P hitch. Took me an afternoon to put it on with no problems. No more trouble with passing semis and rock steady towing everywhere. I made my maiden voyage using the ProPride in 30 mph crosswinds and the truck and trailer felt like it was one unit, absolutely no sway at all. No more tiring, white knuckle trips for me. Best investment I've ever made!

45 MPH cross wind with no sway

Very simple. In the most challenging conditions, this works exactly as advertised. I am pulling a 28 foot travel trailer, have encountered 40 MPH plus cross winds...no sway. As advertised!
