This hitch extender kit includes an 18", 7-pin RV electrical extension, (2) chain extensions with extension clevis and break-away cable.

This trailer hitch extension kit has everything you need to hit the road after you get your ProPride 3P® or Hensley Arrow® installed.

Note: Some RV brands have long enough connections. If you don't use the trailer chain extension kit you can return it for a full refund.

To determine if needed you can stretch your electrical, chains and cable out past the end of the coupler. If they extend toward the tow vehicle 24" past the end of the coupler you will not need a trailer hitch extension.

ProPride 3P and Extension Set: Lexus LX570 + Airstream 26U

Great experience with the 3P and using the heavier 1400 bars on the LX570. The airstream tows and tracks easily and feels very safe. We tow at 70mph or below and it handles very well. Still need to hit the CAT scales to precisely set the front axle load, but I believe its close based on tape measurement. We learned to avoid using an impact drill to crank the jacks (and instead use only a regular drill) as I sheared a roll pin in the top gear of the jack upon using an impact drill. I was able to easily replace the roll pin without a problem. Overall very happy with the ProPride set up and view it as a "home run."

This kit gives you everything you need for the added length of the 3P hitch. I really doubt that the original equipment on any trailer is long enough for this awesome 3P hitch.

The chain was smaller than the chain on the camper, the emergency brake cable need to come with a set of instructions.

trailer light umbilical was long enough, but of course the chains were too short-this gave me what I needed to hook it up and get on the road. Sure, most any hardware store would have had the stuff, but when in a foreign city, it was great to have the chain extension delv'd with the hitch.
