This hitch extender kit includes an 18", 7-pin RV electrical extension, (2) chain extensions with extension clevis and break-away cable.

This trailer hitch extension kit has everything you need to hit the road after you get your ProPride 3P® or Hensley Arrow® installed.

Note: Some RV brands have long enough connections. If you don't use the trailer chain extension kit you can return it for a full refund.

To determine if needed you can stretch your electrical, chains and cable out past the end of the coupler. If they extend toward the tow vehicle 24" past the end of the coupler you will not need a trailer hitch extension.

Upon changing my Pro Pride hitch from my old truck and travel trailer to my new truck and trailer I needed the extra length,s to be useful. Everything is now OK for towing

I ordered this for my trailer when I ordered my hitch system. Remember, the hitch system adds about a foot of length and with the extra length, you chains and brake cable likely could be strained due to not long enough with added length. I installed in just a few minutes and now don't have to worry about my chain not being long enough as well as the brake cable. You will need to have a crimper available for the brake cable however to add length to the old cable. You may be able to do it with a vise or heavy pliers, but crimper assures it is crimped properly. I had one, so for me, no problem.

The extension kit is an excellent product and just what I needed for my ProPride 3P Hitch. This is the best hitch money can buy. No compromise. As far as customer support goes, I have been in the industrial maintenance field for over 40 years and recently retired. ProPride has the best customer support of any company I have ever dealt with, period. Enough said.

The basic package was fine. Chain acceptable, power cord seems to be good quality, but my small complaint is with the most minor and least expensive part of the package. The small breakaway cable. It would be much cleaner and less apt to get caught up on something if it were a new full length cable. What was sent is too short to be a standalone cable. For me this is a "C'mon man" thing. You could do better.
